About
I am Tolga Konuk, an architect specializing in architectural conservation and restoration. I graduated from Istanbul Kültür University with a B.Arch. in 2012 and completed my M.A. in Architectural History and Restoration in 2017, with a thesis titled “Kuşadası, Balatlıoğlu House Restoration Project.” I also completed English language studies in Malta and later strengthened my project delivery skills through a Project Management course at the University of Toronto (2025).
Throughout my career, I have been involved in architectural design and permit processes for projects in Muğla, Bodrum, and Kuşadası, including Gönülbükü Mansions, Gürgan Villas, and the Mavi Pansiyon Restoration Project. While living in Toronto, I worked as a Field Coordinator, supporting planning, documentation, and on-site coordination for fiber-optic and telecommunications infrastructure projects, including as-built drawing processes and team coordination.
Today, I aim to bring this combined background—restoration expertise, design and permitting experience, and international field coordination—into architectural projects in Bodrum and its surrounding areas, creating unique, functional, and context-sensitive spaces.
